Land of The Dying Dream

You speak like courage
But you act your cowardice
Tell me what's for our good
As we find ourselves enslaved
Tyranny gains its foothold on the terms of safety

Coerced to the trust of fradulence
Illegitimate authority
Our hearts are auctioned
Sold in bondage to the path of least resistance

When the fear of death meets the cost of freedom
Will we pay the dues of legacy
Or sell out the nation for the breath of our captivity

Mandates to comply
What conditions will we live in if we're too afraid to die?
Delaying the inevitable end of our decay
Survival of the weakest watch their freedoms slip away

Adorn the liar
Script to his own deception
Teleprompter puppet mastered
Blinded by his own perception

Sold out on the front lines
Evacuate and abandon
Sent back into the crossfire of our enemies
Armed of imperial negligence

In unspoken contract to a terrorist regime
Treasonous endorsements in the land of a dying dream

How can you administer the cure when you're part of the disease?
Like trying to suture the wounds with another's blood on your hands
Your pride the infection in your will to self appease
You're in no position to make your demands

Held hostage by this company of fear we've kept
When the woke are the nightmare we've been lulled into
Elected by inaction while America slept
Civil insomnia instigated by the cancer of you...
