My LouLan

Would love to know
how the wind blows
how it carves wrinkles
over the dessert's silk robe

Would love to know
how the valiant soldiers
fought to death
on the battle fields

On the old silk road
under the sand river
the once glorious castle
found as gorgeous as a fable

Listen to the song
As if to witness
the old city's rise and fall
and mourns for the tragic wars

Miss the good old days

Louland was a small kingdom or city that existed in the northwest of Mainland China 1,391 years ago. During the past 806 years, Louland once had a splendid history. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Loulan still occupied an important position on the Silk Road. The Eastern Han Dynasty government rehabilitated Loulan on a large scale and developed Louland. From then on until the Wei Jin Dynasty for hundreds of years, Louland has always been an important transportation hub from the inland to the Western Regions. Later, Louland was rarely seen in historical records, and gradually disappeared mysteriously.
