Yawns

PTSD is a serial killer; fuck knows how many vulnerable people it’s murdered during the twilight.

The only kind of death that lingers on my mind at 2:30am can only be found in the rise & fall of your breath all over me as I cling to you whilst our legs are threaded, and I move my mouth closer to yours as I breathe you into me, whilst savouring the hint of flavoured ice-cream and the love we made some hours ago as it still lingers upon your breath.

People cope with trauma in their own way.

I think back to the time you hiked that mountain alone all those years ago whilst wishing someone was with you and I wished it was me as you clocked up the miles but right now I’m contemplating sliding my hands down your boxers to arouse you just enough for you to wake, and give me what for until all my thoughts are redirected & consumed by you as you calm my raging heart with soft kisses as I plant halos upon your hardened affliction as I break all your rules.

You’ll lose a little more sleep because you love me, and nobody loves me better than you do at that time in the morning when I’m restless and needy, watching the neon lights change ever so slowly on the alarm clock beside me. Especially, when you’re somewhat angry at me for tearing down your walls, and rearranging the furniture in your house, while chucking out things you actually never needed.

It’s called Spring cleaning.

And you drowsily pull me closer on top of you whilst slipping deep inside me with one swift motion, and my walls grip you tightly as we collide and grind ever so gently, before I whisper, fuck me hard and you roll me face down & tilt my hips, before drilling me hard & deep until you elicit several little deaths, and we collapse, and fall softly into a loving embrace.

You know how to help me sleep, it’s what lovers do for one another.
