A Bird's Agony (Finally Free)

There's no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you
That's an amazing quote attributed to the great Maya Angelou
As the caged bird flew outta its cage and engaged a symphony
Singing loudly about being free to express tales about its journey

Conveying how dichotomies keep enemies in a constant state of war
Even Biblical allegories provide revelations about how they'll be more
It relays how much of a chore it is trying to soar to empyrean
And how its seen many scenes of things done by human beings

Saying how taxing these things are to its ability to fly
While dodging bombs bursting in the sky like the 4th of July
A far cry from desideratum dreams it wished upon a fallen star for
As humanity collectively seems to be knocking on Heaven's door
