Deconstructing & Rebuilding
Sometimes you've got to destroy in order to rebuild
Laying a new and sturdier foundation in order to heal
Building up your serenity temple plank by plank
Resurrecting like a Phoenix from the despair you sank
Becoming the General of your tank on life's battlefields
Knowing when to lower your guards and when to raise your shields
When to wield your pen and when to brandish your sword
Knowing when to break ranks when not on one accord
Marching forward from those you've dishonorably discharged
Protecting your area of operations by launching a barrage
A barrage of missiles or pistols for those who're against you
There are casualties in war, no matter the venue
Only use your rear view to self reflect
Obtaining lessons from stresses; never regret
Forgive, if you choose, but forgetting is for fools
For history repeats itself in this Hard Knock School
