It’s darkened
We’ve been here for hours
We slept together
Long day
Running back and forth
I kept trying to pull you
Like a yoyo string
But the string broke
And I had to rewind the string
And I realized
I wasn’t supposed to pull the string at all
I am to let the yoyo fall
Pulled by gravity
Not by me
Who am I to control the sea
I am not the moon.
