Elizabethan

She had a certain -
Law school cool,
I thought,
or perhaps

I just tend to see people in a certain light.

She was quick
To complain,
Showing a server
Her disdain.

I admired her ability to take a stand.

Then she went apoplectic
About
Something
That I genuinely did not understand

And

I consider myself to be understanding
Sometimes something
like
Laissez Faire -

Certainly fair
always there
to care,
Even after heart break disaster.

She became
a labyrinth inside of a tear

And I became
a Scorpio ascendent
Serpent -

Watching

Eyes -

Pulsating

Author's Note
I was recently contacted by a woman I used know...

I am inspired deeply by the concept of "the examined life"...

So I decided to look for the poem. :)))
