The End.

if you're looking for the old me
well I'm missing him too
the passion that helped me stand up
added to the words that I could say
some things go by in a moment
and they can never be replaced
at times I sit and wonder
was it all what it seemed?
maybe just the angst
of a frustrated teen

we had the same drive
creativity we did great things
you took that dream
and sold it for pennies on the dollar
said it was the right thing to do
but when it's wasn't for me, or you
then who the fuck was it for?
seems to me you lost your way
little miss "fake it till you make it"
a good example of what not to do

seeing you these days
I hold contempt
saying you want to reconcile
yet you start out the conversation
not with a "I'm sorry"
but accusations
like I should own up to everything
and say you were the perfect angel
not gonna happen
but I will say thank you
we had some great memories
unfortunately those days are gone
there's just no going back

when we were younger
we fought our way out the gutter
with no help from family or friends
then it became all about the drama
enough to make a young man scream
said goodbye to make it right
now that I have moved on
you want to come back piss poorly
I wish I could shake you
tell you "grow the fuck up!"
the only thing we agree on
is that this is the end
and I'm fine with that
