I thank the God who smiled

I thank the God who smiled

God smiled on me the night, he sent you to share my dreams, he gave me a glimpse of happiness or to me that's how it seems

Just like an Angel, you were sent up from high above, to fill my dreams with passion, desire and with love

You come in to my dream, then you climb in my lonely bed, nestled up beside me, sleeping in my heart and head

Sharing fleeting moments, we share nightly tender kisses, then you make love with me, fulfilling all my wishes

Entwined and moulded together, it's like we are as one, fused in a lovers embrace, only separated by dawns Sun

Sun light is our Kryptonite, it is by far my biggest fear, when it shows its ugly head, I know you're nowhere near

As long as there is darkness, I'm transfixed, enthralled, beguiled, I'm honoured to have my dream girl, so I thank the God who smiled
