I grew up in a
macho man world;
beer drinking and
big biceps, loud
cursing and fist fighting;
wimps and bullies
were quick to show how
low their self-esteem was;
fathers, mine included, were
quick to maintain dry eyes
and lecture "Why Big Boys
Don't Cry."
DISCOVERY:
Through the years
I have learned the
"forbidden" practice can
be an emotional catharsis
that enhances a healthy
mind and body.
IT was when I met YOU
that I really, finally learned
that big men DO cry.
How could I not weep
over your kindness, sweetness,
graciousness, forgiveness,
and perfectness of your
demonstrations of love?
There is much, much more
that causes me to cry
love and happiness tears
because of you.
