the crones looks skyward
a circle of fire drawn in the sand
the heart keeps beat with the drum
the shield maidens faith powerful
they braid their hair praying silently for victory

Odin is here

the warriors gather to take a stand
painted with the blood of their enemies
pointed daggers in hand
Valhalla sends the ancestors
the Valkyries take to the night air

cold and bitter is the day
brothers in life and bond
are one with the land
the sea their home
conquering death they ride the ocean deep

in the forests they are
in the blood they are
forever mighty vikings

tell us how you vanquished thy enemies
