soul journey

 
I connect with the air around me
lifting my soul up and out on the winds
reaching higher and higher with my spirit
entering the tranquil corridor in space
 
before time existed there is a place
without light or sound
my being goes to this quiet sanctuary
in my solemn solitude...I am
 
aware of my connection to the cosmos itself
a life echoing through aeons upon aeons
our soul's trajectory kept there
 
recording our evolution
coming in contact with sentient souls we have known before
we pass each other on the celestial highway
coming together as designated by fate
 
touching each others pnema
caressing the sanctity of being
with an awakening within we meet again
 
in the shadows of the breaking dawn...we were
we will be anew
with a shared understanding of what is to breathe life
giving succor to one another's heart
