The pink carnations

You were peeping behind bride
with those cute and curious eyes
tickling with each twinkle

you came running into my arms
like you were my own
and an analogous carnated copy
i lifted you as your angel head was
resting on my breasts so secure
and the tiny peanuts playing kittenish
with my jewelweed
for you're prettier and divine
than my carnated pink carnations.
