Longing for a Leader

A visionary must exist
Of some nationality
Genius enough to steer
Convincing a majority
Surely amongst the multitude
On this earthly sphere
Someone will look to the moon
Or another inspiration
And fix what's happening here

I don't care about gender, or age
A kid can be a wonder
Anyone can be a seer
We won't discriminate will we
Just as long as they have a solution
We'll gather apart, and cheer
So don't be shy, don't be modest
