Loving light

Loving light

Wandering through the Wilderness of a sad and empty heart, expecting to be alone forever, a endless life apart

Then through the painful darkness, I see a glimmering light, could this be some happiness on a cold and lonely night

Pushing my way through hurts brambles, they bite and scratch my thighs, I ignore past hurts and heartaches, towards the light before my eyes

Wading through a sea of tears, I push on to reach my goal, all those tears shed in lost loves, from the hurt within my soul

But none of this will hold me back, this could be a magic night, will I find my dream girl, somewhere in the light

Will she cut down all the brambles, will she dry my sea of tears, is she the one I've been searching for, throughout these lonely years

Maybe she's there to reach out a hand, to guide me home this night, to lead me from the wilderness into her loving light
