Image for the poem dandelion

dandelion

grey was in my soul
in the ashes of yesterdays
touching my heart making me feel
I said silent prayers to dandelions
in my heart cry
I was not to be consoled

tender emotions were vibrant amidst the grey
I felt them in reds
within my sacred halls I look at them abstractly
each feeling geometrically aligned within my being

delicate in nature
they spoke of my sanctity
my honesty was broken

a wish and a prayer
charcoal thoughts wept
then as fast at it came
in the gentle rain all went away
