Stanzas from the heart
Stanzas from the heart
Each heartbeat writes a word, each line calls out your name, sending my thoughts out in the universe, where they will remain
Floating out across the void, looking for my dream girl, hoping they will find her and she'll give my poetry a whirl
Hoping she will read my lines, I pray they touch her heart, bringing her close to me, though we're miles apart
I wonder if she'll find my lines, I really hope they make her smile, then my time spent writing them really would have been worthwhile
I wonder if she's laying there, with my words running through her head, reading what I wrote for her, whilst she lays in bed
Reading how she makes me feel, how I dream of her at night, imagining we're together and how I'd love to hold her tight
I often dream of kissing her, of sharing her warm embrace, looking into her beautiful eyes, seeing true love upon her face
So my special dream girl, look out across the void to find my rhymes, I hope you read my poems, if you find some private times
