One choice in 10,000

Small children held hands with their parents.
Parents gazed up at the pulpit.
The preacher looked at the gathering,
raised his voice,
and gave them all one choice

The 9,999
other religions would disagree.
Espousing another variation,
of the truth,
to the ears of the old, and the youth

None of them are wrong
to hold generational conviction;
to believe they know the path.
All are within their right,
but clearly it's absurd to fight

I went down to the lakefront park. There was a religious service on the grass.
