dreams and visions

 
steepled regret in fascination's keep
wound about my spirit entwining with my soul
casual observers failed to notice I wasn't myself
in my gloaming hours I weep, nothing would console

bitter tears of pain my only comfort
with an out pour of emotion my heart break
time my keeper taking note of my dreams and visions

in the grander scheme of things who was I to complain?

a child of scorn evolving in her torment
a dicey being of naught holding tight to my sanity
in the quiet times I ponder aspects of my nature

in my silence I awaken to honesty
her tiny voice echoing in my sacred hallways
shining her light on my truths

within me I arose to greet wisdom
it's with purpose i sojourn
a great journey of discovery is afoot
I hold this promise in my soul
