the skies sway
in the deepest part of my soul rise

the devil smiles at dusk
disjointed thoughts touch
risky night keens for its innocence
delicate truth keeps its secrets

time will tell on the stars
sky needs faith in herself
blue in the feeling
careening towards disaster
hasty words heckle

cajoled in the moment
insidious need speaks
as darkness bleed descends
in eternal want cry

the angels look away
