The Words Are Mine
When I push pen to paper
I am the Alpha-Beta
Omega -Sigma
Gamma irradiated
I wrote it
Inhaling verbiage one syllable at a time
The words are mine
I am the nexus point of dreams
And fears and omens
I write for salvation
For the sake of artistic expression
For vindication and freedom
I'm trying to timestamp my existence
Desperately seeking substance
Through a poetic lense
Thus
I devour verbiage
In a buffet of ideas and emotions
The words are mine
And I will eat
Till my hearts desire
