Them & Them
They have organized sports;
They have street level fisticuffs.
They have University Fraternities;
They have Criminal Organizations.
They have tropical vacations;
They have extended vacations.
They have hard knocks;
They have golden parachutes.
Perhaps…
But this is what you must know;
All is motherfucking sorrow.
All is a quest for meaning;
Amidst the lies of material being.
All is interposed with tears;
All is a confrontation with fears.
All is the shedding of blood;
Washed away by rain in a flood.
All there really is -
is
You.
