Sweet joys, fond memories
from times long ago
They make me cry
for a life forever lost
I want to breathe
All I do is choke
Past loss, present pain
I see no future
If I can feel

Writing a relatable poem, giving hope to others, is definitely a sign that you are alive, and making a contribution.
