Fire we made

Hidden in the ice lies a burning flame.

Look me in my eyes & solidify to me where your place stands.    

Intrigued by the verbal reassurance you gave.      

We were cold to the world without question.

 The heat between us couldn’t be denied.  

Burned by our own creation we built each other up be solid monuments that we tore down.  

We look back on a past that killed a part of both us.
