Silly old fool  
worrying still
a year's worth of rain
but your safe on your hill
 
Though you can't fail to notice
the change in the sky
winter's got warmer
and in summer you fry
 
Too many people
and not much to eat
while your freezer is bulging
with unhealthy treats
 
Three cars in the garage
gold and shares in BP
if the stock market folds
it wont affect me
 
Putting number one first
keeps me looking away
from the pictures on TV
a feast of dismay
 
The sons and the daughters
can sort out the mess
I bequeath it to them
it's time for my rest
