Why do you tempt me so
It isnt fair when at times you made me feel alone
Thrown to the back
Til it was convenient for you
I felt like an empty shell
Plastered on a smile
Pretended i was present
Inside i was breaking
screaming
Shaking
My heart was aching
I wanted you to hold me
I wanted to be enough
So much so you would get down on one knee for me
I dreamt of this
And how it would be
But yet again you left me
What now.
Your calling
Your texting
Saying how much you love me
Now you want me.
