Winter Beauty
She is delicate, like the frost that coats garden petals
Roses that grow in unlikely places, she graces
For she is snow, and her flakes fall softly on my lips, as I catch her in my palms
Amongst bitter winter breeze
If even for a while, I cherish the cold
Because seasons never stay forever
People come and go, like falling snow
Notice how the prettiest flowers brown too soon
She will melt, before storm clouds rest
Trickling into rivers, that birth springtide bloom
Roses that grow in unlikely places, she graces
For she is snow, and her flakes fall softly on my lips, as I catch her in my palms
Amongst bitter winter breeze
If even for a while, I cherish the cold
Because seasons never stay forever
People come and go, like falling snow
Notice how the prettiest flowers brown too soon
She will melt, before storm clouds rest
Trickling into rivers, that birth springtide bloom
