Luce

Lucifer in my dull hours I ache
your companionship I seek
through the depths I wept
will you forgive me brother
fate has dealt its hand

we are forever parted
in truth this cuts
I openly admit we had a tight bond
it feels like a part of me is missing
since our company dissipated

my cup's sorrow spills over
a soul's worth is all I have to offer
we can't agree so goodbye burns with regret
but it is better said now then later

until we meet again
dear Luce be yourself
nothing else matters
