Hot molten red
like the lips of a forbidden lover
Deep orange
as if morning will never come
Yellow bolts from the earth
like lightening form your eyes
warm winds rush through me as I watch the shades of our sunset
while you kiss me passionately

The sunset is vividly described, and the description of the sunset lets us understand the relationship of the 2 lovers.
The warm winds--sunset in summer. Wind can also signal spiritual energy / presences.
Beautiful line conflating the lines of the sun stretching over the curve of the horizon with the eyes of "you"--
Here's the question: the ending seems off-putting. While he's kissing her passionately, she's apparently looking at the sunset. Her attention is elsewhere. Makes me wonder about how involved she is with him.
