Writing as Dying

It’s as simple as…

Opening a vein
instantly feeling the flow
like death into life
and
following
wherever this flow
chooses to go...

Like ghost lights

On the darkest nights

Drifting & darting

Playing & parting

Into
a
window
span
of
blood
flow
to

land

on

land

Author's Note
I was just thinking of the writing process, or, the creative process... Normally, I compose first to LibreOffice, however, a few times, I just wrote strait to the post box field thing, which to me, is like skydiving, or even, jumping without a parachute, to challenge oneself, to break on through to the other side, always trying to break on through to the other side...  Like a ghost rider, at the top of a ramp, upon the sight of helicopter blades, spinning, and you just rev the engine, with a devil may care attitude, and you just go...  Airborne...  Or...  Writing as bloodletting, and bloodletting as dying.
All writing remains the property of the author. Don't use it for any purpose without their permission.
