I can hear a Little Bird
singing
outside my window
Little Birds always sing
sweet Lovely melodies
they must be very happy
those Little Birds who

their beautiful songs
I wish everyone could

I don't know if this is true or not, but I was watching a movie, and one character was selling songbirds in the street. A naïve young woman asked him how he got them to sing so well, and he replied that he blinded them. That way, the birds never knew what time it was, day or night, so they just sang continually. Again, I don't know if that's true or not.
