The One
Your voice is the song that I hear
Like a Symphony in my ear
When I see your face my pulse starts to race
Like a rock drummer my heart tries to keep pace
Your kiss is hotter than an afternoon in June
It soothes my mind like an old Smokey tune
The smell of your skin overwhelms my olfactory sense
It works on my brain a like Monk solo-so intense
In my arms you feel so fine
It makes my eyes water like a song by Pasty Kline
I am so afraid one day your love I will lose
That every night my soul quietly sings the blues
Like a Symphony in my ear
When I see your face my pulse starts to race
Like a rock drummer my heart tries to keep pace
Your kiss is hotter than an afternoon in June
It soothes my mind like an old Smokey tune
The smell of your skin overwhelms my olfactory sense
It works on my brain a like Monk solo-so intense
In my arms you feel so fine
It makes my eyes water like a song by Pasty Kline
I am so afraid one day your love I will lose
That every night my soul quietly sings the blues
