Predatory Affinities

“ Perhaps I haunted her as she haunted me.” - Daphne Du Maurier

Brutality caresses her skin
Enjoying the delicate softness
Breathing gently onto the nape of her slender neck
Allowing the wildflower scent in her beautiful hair to
Overwhelm evils sense of smell and
Invade its memory

Sensing her tense moments
Charged with fear and a dirtied arousal
Intoxicating and enchanting
The beast  appreciating  hunting her
Pursuing control and domination of her spirit …of what makes her who she is

Cancerous and hidden within
Brutalized delicate porcelain skin
Horrific recollections kept inside her bones
Acid green poison invading her blood
Changing her for perhaps a hauntingly indefinite amount of time

Perturbed existence ripping at her soul
Bringing a potential end to her burdened heart
Sinister companionship with the evil
An evil projected into a personal hell and posioned self-love
