Labyrinth
Journeying through the land of the living as a mortal man
Analyzing misgivings that I don't understand
Wondering if we're offspring of mad scientists
Who're observing and testing if we can coexist
Like in a game of chess, where it's white versus black
Then as capitalists gaining from what others lack
One's back's against the wall, trying not to fail
The other's stacks stand tall, living fairytales
Heaven versus Hell, haves versus have nots
Pursuit of retail fulfilled, or not, being plots
What the blood clot's happening in the world today
We're stuck in this rat race, trying to find our way
Analyzing misgivings that I don't understand
Wondering if we're offspring of mad scientists
Who're observing and testing if we can coexist
Like in a game of chess, where it's white versus black
Then as capitalists gaining from what others lack
One's back's against the wall, trying not to fail
The other's stacks stand tall, living fairytales
Heaven versus Hell, haves versus have nots
Pursuit of retail fulfilled, or not, being plots
What the blood clot's happening in the world today
We're stuck in this rat race, trying to find our way
