Ah To Paint

The form that I dabble in has limitations  
especially when it comes to the brilliance  
that nature gave the world  
in the form of you  
 
It is said a person can say things  
the validity can be in doubt  
a portrait portends to a sincerity  
In the expression conveyed  
 
Capturing the fire and heat in  
a woman’s eyes and determination  
that a love so cherishes the glow
of bodies connected  
 
A representation of attractive qualities  
the incentive to make a claim  
to crafting a permanent display  
that even those outside can view  
 
With the artist’s satisfaction he  
finds relief of some sort in visualization  
and generates positive regard  
beyond the properties of a pen  
 
Indecent language may be met with scorn  
like Tipper Gore’s “favorite” Prince song  
clay and other mediums of even nude  
scenes are readily embraced worldwide
