Just makes me sad that we are such savages still to this day and age. And we will be the reason for our own mass extinction, we don’t think, and for those who do most have no voice . I mean I’m more than halfway off this planet why should I care. But I do I care very much I care more about the creatures on this planet than I do humans.

I adore your soul, my lovely friend... I read this the other day and have been meaning to comment.... Your big heartedness is a true joy to behold, Jackie. I feel like this about the consumption/slaughter of whale STILL in this day and age by certain cultures that find it financially worthy to hunt as a food delicacy, while then hiding behind the lie that they're only slaughtering pregnant whales and entire whale pods do to 'scientific research'... yeah. suuuuure!.... It's all gross... Sharks, whales and even some locations, slaughtering dolphins.... Like C'MON!! Who in their right mind could eat a fucking dolphin!???.... Jeez, totally heartless!!
I comment on this comment because I giggled at your 'mass extinctions' remarks .. lol... We as human beings obviously can't even take a hint (hi covid!) that some humility is definitely in order.... Plus, I love @darksighs with all my BlueBoo heart, too...

The Nisshin Maru, is a SCAM!  
I had the unthinkable privilege to witness a killing of a beautiful whale the same time the Steve Irwin captain did ever!  it was so horrifically heartbreaking. I felt like I lost a loved one. I really really really I have a deep rooted hate for these people for this reason and a few others to be quite honest. I just can’t just sit and do nothing so I figured I’d write this to get a little awareness going maybe.. I love you my sister always and I miss you guys

I mean these creatures  are magnificent and they’ve been here long since before us thats for sure.  I read somewhere that whales have been on this planet for over 11 million years. What makes it selfish is that the people that are doing all the damage will be dead they don’t care that’s how they look at it like what the fuck do I care I’ll be dead. And it’s that kind of thinking that’s killing our 🌎

Indeed, I would venture to say that perhaps the mass majority of creatures on earth are in fact misunderstood.  Which is an interesting concept to ponder.  

I like the insights that arise from this write.

I very much like sharks.

Someone recently compared me to an undiscovered shark in the ocean depths...  I took it as a compliment.

Don’t know how I missed this comment C. I think sharks are adorable. Obviously I wouldn’t have the nerve to swim with a great white, but I wouldn’t mind getting in a tank like at the aquarium and pet one :)

Honey, I know where you are coming, friend. I think Greta Thunberg said it perfectly before the UN "How dare you! You have stolen my childhood." And Harrison Ford put it perfectly. After a long talk on the environmental movement, he addressed the youth groups trying to save our planet. He said, "The best thing we can do for them, the best way we can support them in their cause is "to get the hell out of their way." Thank you my friend for speaking for these creatures.
