[ Gibran ] Take A Chance on Gibran
Your daily life is your temple and your religion.
Whenever you enter into it take your all.
Take the plow and the forge and the mallet and the lute,
The things you have fashioned in necessity or for delight.
For in reverie you can not rise above your achievements nor fall lower than your failures.
And take with you all men:
For in adoration you can not fly higher than their hopes nor humble yourself lower than their despair.
~ Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet
Make no mistake
---Mind and Universe are one
and the same house of worship
where living Life to its fullest
is worthwhile adoration
---becomes forge flames fanned
as you enjoy yourself
at no one else's expense
within its framed sanctum
where exists the Heaven on Earth
you only read about in bibles
Melt down any idols of gold!
Cast away the gods of old!
Let there be no more doubt
as to how bold and devout
you are by giving it your all
When in the throes of reverie
smite the anvil with glee
as you hammer out the details
allowing loving Life to be
your new religion!
Whenever you enter into it take your all.
Take the plow and the forge and the mallet and the lute,
The things you have fashioned in necessity or for delight.
For in reverie you can not rise above your achievements nor fall lower than your failures.
And take with you all men:
