A perfect storm

Silence
is peppered
with sounds
of torrential rain

winds blow a ritual—
panes of windows
chatter their teeth

heavy droplets
pelt the roof,
in continuous wrath
making clear, of intentions

claps of far off thunder
roll in distinct punctuation

faintest sounds
of a train's whistle
sing it's song
of wandering
dreamy thought

lightning
illuminates the sky,
in random
curt multitudes
as lavish kisses
of ozone
perfume the night
in an ethereal
abandon of wafture

... and a thunderstorm
lulls

perfectly.
