If dreams could just come true

If dreams could just come true

I wake up every morning, knowing that I've dreamed of you, we made love through till early dawn, then our time was through

In the moonlight hours you are mine, there's only you and I, but I can't keep you when the sun comes up, no matter what I try

The Sun rises in the sky, as the moon just drifts and slides away, I'm left alone again, there is no time to play

No more sharing kisses, no longer are our bodies moulded into one, my dream night is over, you've been stolen by the Sun

Only in the darkness do you appear and climb into my bed, practising your art of seduction, running wild throughout my head

Beautiful and tender you have a caring, loving way, you body is so beautiful, I wish I could make you stay

Make you come from within my dreams, just knock right on my door, spend an eternity with me, so I'd be alone no more

I'd spend my life in happiness, there would be just me and you, living forever in loves young dream, if dreams could just come true
