Ohh the ache within such astute and poignant questions.... I can feel the hurt and and the heartbreak.... age old pain.... it's always so personal and difficult.... I emphasize.... you know what's the best, healthiest road to take.... it's sticking to your guns, that's usually the crux.... in my opinion(and my biggest problem!) .... hang in there, dear poetess... you're stronger than you know!! 💪🏻

Letting go is the most difficult thing we learn to do. We think holding on is a brave display of belief. However, it's really the source of our pain. When you let go and move on you will learn the lesson; then, what's waiting for you will become visible through the fog of the hurt you now feel.

You pose a great question throughout this entire poem. How do you get over something like this? How do you make your mind shut it off? $64,000 questions. Sure wish I knew the answers! I’m still stuck on the crushes I had in elementary school. My experience
has only been to wait it out and fill the void with candy and finding someone else. (Full disclosure neither were helpful). I guess this isn’t helpful. I do know what is though,,,you writing this poem. You’ve expressed this universal situation in an exceptional write we can all share in commiseration. Xx H🌷

Sadly my Purple princess many have thought this is the one only to find out they are no one to the other person. Pain designed to teach lessons, but we hang on to the glimmer of hope that another chance might make the difference
But I've personally learned once is enough. Opening the door to your heart a second time nearly always brings another round of hurt
How do you forget the person, yiu don't, you just learn to cope and hopefully true love finds you

This is what I wrote to get rid of an unwanted feeling such as this.  It felt good to write and though it didn't work as fast as it was written this was the catalyst to moving on.
