Children of a Dark Beginning

She had even said I love you
All He heard her say was "no"

He is cloaked in charcoal smoke
To mystify the onlookers
Casting out concrete definition
And upholding vagueness

She was feminine magnified
Long legs and hair, with piercing eyes;
Beauty that rains on you -
And all he can see was danger
All she could see was devotion
