between conviction and oppression

is incapable of thwarting your ability

Forcing someone else's hand  
into catering to your affairs  
punishing for lacking acceptance  
of who you insist you are  
is the censorship from a bully  
you are supposedly a victim of  
and fighting to undo  
 
Can't have your cake  
and eat it too  
 
but you can take your business  
further down the street  
mind your own store  
and still live Happily Ever After  
 
That's justice in itself
the icing on top longed for
and you'd still get in your licks
 
However, such certainly requires
not being a couple of dicks
