Hold the Shell Up to Your Ear
Do you remember her?
I do, your friend
And her thin little panties
In our cubby playing
Not a pubic hair among us
How easily?
We turn the cotton away
Feel for something
Still just kids
We were up & wet
And blatantly honest
Parents too busy
Not much held back
From our carnal knowledge
Bald as badgers
Finding our hiding places
She is trees & courage
I am her altar boy
We assume the priest is watching
Probably recording it
The Atlantic
Such a synergizing sea
One shore takes its cue
Another lost & languishing
I do, your friend
And her thin little panties
In our cubby playing
Not a pubic hair among us
How easily?
We turn the cotton away
Feel for something
Still just kids
We were up & wet
And blatantly honest
Parents too busy
Not much held back
From our carnal knowledge
Bald as badgers
Finding our hiding places
She is trees & courage
I am her altar boy
We assume the priest is watching
Probably recording it
The Atlantic
Such a synergizing sea
One shore takes its cue
Another lost & languishing
