Jagged

I could lie
tell you I'm fine,
I'm not.
I stuck the blade too deep,
this time the bleeding
won't clot.

I'm drowning
in this flowing river of red.
Regretting every single word,
that I ever left unsaid.

I could cry
beg you to save me,
I won't.
I could pretend
you want my I'm sorries,
you don't.

My bitterness
tore this jagged hole.
It was sorrow that made me
barter my broken soul.

Time has no button
to rewind,
what's in the past
has passed.
There is no undoing of,
a spell
once it's been cast
