A Dragon Fly

I had a silent conversation
With a dragon fly today.
He was dressed in luminous
Shades of blue green -
More beautiful than
The most perfect emerald
I had ever seen.

This beautiful
Four winged creature
Landed on my sandal to rest.

Sometimes in my imagination
I see a tiny fairy riding
On these flying dragons.

Are you ready to call
The men in the white coats?
