Magical Hatbox

I have a magical hatbox
where I put all my things away
just when you think there's no room
it begins to breathe and grow.
I place things in, closing the lid
all my treasures I have compacted
they mix and they mingle
they grow and they show
there they have interacted
While watching and waiting
I'm definitely sure
I'll be surprised
as what has arrived
In my magical hatbox
I open my eyes
I see another me
one that's been hidden
for such a long time
In my magical hatbox

Author's Note
It's strange how I received a comment from a great poet, to put my heartbreak behind me. I was making this poem at the time. Thank you PoetSpeak.
