Darkness falls

Darkness falls

High upon the rooftop the Vampire Queen sits in wait, looking for you to make that one mistake, the one that'll seal your fate

Stay in the lightened streets, keep others in your sight, if your alone for a moment, you'll lose your life tonight

She watches people go about their tasks, oblivious that's she's there, waiting for the opportunity, to take life without a care

Her hunger is insatiable, her desires must be fed, she'll drink the life force from your veins, until she's sure your dead

Young or old, grown up or child, to her it's all the same, to feed on those who come in reach is her only aim

Teeth glistening in moonlight, her eyes are like a hawk, waiting for your last mistake, as alone you start to walk

Then like the silent assassin, she swoops to stake her claim, she wraps herself around you and feeds straight from your vein

When the Sunlight comes again, you bodies laying on the ground, you've been sanguinated, there's no blood left to be found
