It would rip my heart out
It would rip my heart out
To find out there's no one there, looking for me out there in the void, no person wanting to be loved by me, my heart would be broken left destroyed
All hope would be lost, no chance to share my heart, forever condemned to loneliness, from love be kept apart
All my dreams were wasted, all poetry left written but unread, the roses that I've watered, just now are left for dead
No love to hold so close, no arms to hold me tight, just me and my pillow, hugging through the night
Wishes left unanswered, hopes shattered on the floor, like broken mirrors I've had bad luck, now I've Seven more
Do I just give up my hopes, just settle for a lifetime all alone, cursed to unwanted, left writing sad poetry on my phone
If this ever came to pass, if all belief in love got lost, it would rip my heart out, I'm not sure I could pay the cost
Faith and hope is all I have, it helps me face each day, hoping I will find the one and for her to come my way

This is too sad. Very sweet and heartbreaking. Feeling the way i feel(a bit down) This didnt help my mood but it did give me a bit of a wake up call. The world does not revolve around my feelings alone. I enjoyed this.

Ron, you deserve so much...so much more. No matter how young or old we are, we still keep that longing and desire to be loved by that special someone. I pray you find her. Shes out there. If not, the rewards you'll receive in Heaven will be so much more than you can imagine.

Your beautiful thoughts and inspired dreams are something that most people never admit to, much less pursue actively, my dear poet.
Seriously, you are a true brave soul, here in the NOW. Someone willing to be open and honest about what particular interests and desires are their cup of tea, is rare and your thoughtful, big heart won't go overlooked. I am not religious in any way, at all and I 100% don't believe in any organized based religion. Super bad experiences there, opened my eyes forever to understand and fully appreciate that my faith is a belief in goodness and kindness among human beings, in the immediate.
If you continue your path of your own truthful righteousness, then eventually, with a little more gumption and the action of putting yourself out there a bit more, you'll succeed... I know it!!... if that's what you truly want!
