Shallow
Why do you like me?
Or better yet, what was so interesting that you couldn't keep your eyes away from me?
Was it my soul?
Haha, I bet not.
I bet you only cared about my looks.
It wasn't how I saw things that caught your eye,
Instead it was my ass, boobs, and looks?
Am I wrong?
I hope I am, but you know it's true.
You only see what's on the surface, not what is in the inside.
You are hollow.
Your soul is nothing but a rotting apple that not even a worm would like to come and taste.
I am not shallow, when I cry you don't ask why.
You look at me and leave me behind.
Don't look at me as though I am telling a lie,
Fight instead for what is right.
It's already late but I would like to see you cry.
You aren't a man.
A man knows when to console and be a friend.
That isn't you.
Leave. You are not worth my time.
My looks are not worth more than my brain and feelings.
I write the truth, while you live a lie.
My looks will change but your shallow heart will never be replaced.
