silently crawling thru your veins
listening with confused emotions
broken heartbeat reaching out
new beats satisfying curiosity
roaming soul to soul for comfort
never wanting more than words
feeling of vulnerability engulfs me
blood runs cold from memories
i’m running now to escape
stumbling into a small crack
red dripping upon my flesh
warmness overcomes shivers
unknown music vibrates
another beat joining in unison
realization tosses me out
feeling my own heart shatter
realizing you’ve turned away again
cause you’re fooling another…..
another secret to be hidden…..
another empty soul who comes and goes…..
another careless heart with no emotions…..
another who will share meaninglessly…..
another whose lies even better…..
another heartless soul just like YOU!!
I’m ok I promise……just burning a memory, sigh

Ohhh flowergirl, your open honesty and the heavy sadness, mixed within your descriptive heartbreak, certainly hits home. My own heart aches in remembered solidarity. You expertly convey the anguish and sheer dismay of untruths and betrayal, here... I hope that it's of some small healing process or found catharsis, to purge write some of these feelings. I was pulled in, reading and empathize with each and every line.

Dear FG,
I wholeheartedly admire this poem because it reminded me of a situation I experienced long ago in a galaxy far away. I never purged the hurt and raw anger of disappointment, if I’d known poetry had soothing properties I’d have written it out in a heartbeat. I’ve learned how liberating letting the universe know my upset instead of me talking to myself and all the voices in my head the only ones to hear me. I hope this write has begun the expunging of these feelings for you. It’s maddening knowing there are some people out there hurting others with their crap. I really appreciated this poem. A lot. H🌷

Hey H…..sometimes when I ignore the voices in my head…….they don’t leave me alone until I write them…….no matter where my soul might wander too…….there are a lot of souls who hurt others to cause that’s how they live…….don’t care who they hurt……they keep moving thru hearts as if playing a card game…….thank you for sharing with me a very thought provoking words…….purple luv & hugs xo :)
